Established in 1925, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) patents and licenses UW-Madison research discoveries, manages investment proceeds, and funds the University and Morgridge Institute for further scientific research. WARF fosters collaborations among researchers, investors, industry, and entrepreneurs to commercialize innovations developed on campus.

Morgridge Institute For Research

The Morgridge Institute for Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute exploring uncharted scientific territory to discover tomorrow’s cures. Morgridge works to improve human health through innovative, interdisciplinary biomedical discoveries, spark scientific curiosity and serve society through translational outcomes, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
